The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their original result slips within two hours of issuance.

The announcement was made on Wednesday in a statement by JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.

According to the board, the original result slip contains candidates’ photographs, national ranking, and other security features required for post-UTME screening and admission processes in tertiary institutions.

It stated that the document will be available for printing from Wednesday, June 17, 2026, and can be accessed through any internet-enabled device, including personal computers and accredited business centres.

JAMB urged candidates to carefully review their details after printing and keep copies safely for use during admission processes.

The board also explained that the 2026 UTME was conducted in April, while a mop-up examination was held on June 13, 2026, for candidates affected by technical issues and biometric challenges. Results from the mop-up exercise were released on June 16.

It added that the delay in printing the original result slips was to allow completion of all examination phases, including foreign-based candidates and mop-up arrangements.
