Content creator Kai Cenat has reopened applications for Streamer University, confirming that the initiative will return in 2026 after its highly successful debut last year.
The Twitch personality made the announcement on June 8 through a trailer inspired by the Harry Potter franchise. He also revealed that applications are now being accepted through the program’s official website.
Unlike the inaugural edition hosted at the University of Akron in May 2025, this year’s program will offer more ways for creators to participate. In addition to enrolling as students, applicants can also seek positions as professors or club directors.
The expanded structure is designed to accommodate a wider range of talent within the content creation space. Students will be taught skills related to content production, audience growth and personal branding, while professors will lead classes covering various creative disciplines and specialized topics.
Club directors, meanwhile, will be responsible for building communities among participants and organizing activities outside the classroom.
The announcement has already attracted interest from several notable online personalities. QTCinderella has volunteered to teach culinary arts, while fellow creator Lacy has proposed a course centered on clip farming.
Streamer University gained significant attention during its first run in 2025, and the latest expansion signals Cenat’s ambition to make the program even bigger for aspiring creators in 2026.
