Celebrity socialite Cubana Chief Priest has once again generated buzz online after speaking boldly about the powerful political connections and support system surrounding him.
In a viral interview circulating online, the nightlife entrepreneur explained that a number of influential politicians still stand firmly behind him despite backlash and criticism over his closeness to politics.
According to Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, many of his political allies appreciate the influence he has among the youth and the visibility he brings wherever he goes.
Sharing one of his recent experiences, the businessman revealed that a political associate called to encourage him and reminded him about the expensive gifts he had received in the past.
“Man of the parties is pampering me. They are like, oh, CP, he accommodates you, so it’s working in my favor. One of my chairmen called me today and said, ‘CP, are you okay?’ I told him I’m trying. He said no worry. He reminded me that he bought a brand new Lexus LX 700h for me. He said, ‘You’re my honorable for life,’” he said.
Cubana Chief Priest also made it clear that online attacks and criticism do not bother him, stressing that he remains focused on his ambitions regardless of what people say.
“I’ll never give up even if I lose again. All these people wey dey troll me for IG and Twitter, I checked their pages and none of them get G-Wagon. How will I be sad over what poor men are saying? Maybe God wants me to be the Governor,” he stated.
