TikTok personality Peller has dismissed reports claiming he was referring to Afrobeats star Davido when he used the term “User 001” while speaking about celebrities who may not attend his upcoming wedding.
The social media star said many people had misinterpreted his remarks, insisting that he never mentioned Davido and that the phrase was taken out of context.
Expressing his frustration, Peller wrote:
“Nah today I know say people wey call me olodo nah them be Olodo uprising.
“Because how Davido name take be user? Anybody can be 001 in what they are good at. I said some people are users, 001 mean they are good in what they do. For some people wey be user there are 001 in it, u all just want to bring me down in anyway una go just try.
“Davido is 001 in music.”
According to Peller, “001” is simply a way of describing someone who is exceptional in their field and was never intended as a jab at the singer.
His clarification follows widespread speculation after some media reports suggested he was indirectly calling out Davido for allegedly being unwilling to attend his forthcoming wedding.
