Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement following an altercation with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey.

According to TMZ, the 56-year-old music mogul became involved in a confrontation after allegedly being insulted by a fellow prisoner and deciding to respond himself.

Sources told the outlet that the disagreement escalated into a physical scuffle, with both inmates reportedly shoving each other during the incident. One insider claimed Combs “held his own” in the fight.

Prison officials later intervened, separated the two men and moved Combs into solitary confinement.

It is unclear whether he remains in isolation or if the incident will have any impact on his expected release date.

Combs was sentenced in October 2025 to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was later transferred from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to FCI Fort Dix.

His original release date of May 8, 2028, was delayed in November 2025 after he allegedly breached several prison regulations. However, the date was later revised, with his current projected release set for February 23, 2028.

Neither Combs nor his representative has publicly commented on the reported prison fight.
