Nigerian singer Spyro has called on some of the country’s biggest music stars to use their influence to draw attention to the growing insecurity affecting many communities across Nigeria.
The singer specifically appealed to Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Rema and Asake, urging them to speak up for innocent victims, including children and teachers who have been caught in the wave of violence.
According to Spyro, influential voices can help bring greater awareness to the situation and show support for those who have been affected.
“I’m begging you Wizkid, a tweet we go a long way, I’m begging you Burna Boy, I’m begging you Davido, I’m begging every influential person I’m begging can’t just be business as usual. I’m begging you.”
The singer stressed that the lives of those impacted by insecurity should matter to everyone, adding that public figures have a role to play in amplifying the concerns of vulnerable Nigerians.
