Social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has urged Nigerians to avoid rushing to conclusions over the ongoing dispute involving singer Peter Okoye and his brothers, Jude and Paul.
Speaking during a live session, VDM questioned why many people had already thrown their support behind Peter despite the fact that Jude and Paul had yet to publicly present their own sides of the story.
He argued that public reactions to sensitive issues are often driven by emotions rather than a full understanding of the circumstances.
VDM also connected this pattern to the controversy surrounding the death of singer Mohbad, suggesting that emotional reactions have made it difficult to properly pursue the matter.
“Nigerians are so emotional. This is why Mohbad will never get justice. Everybody is supporting Peter, but they have yet to hear from Paul and Jude,” he said.
