Xavi Hernández has officially begun a new chapter in his coaching career after being confirmed as the new head coach of the Netherlands national team.
The former Barcelona manager reached an agreement with the Dutch Football Federation after accepting its proposal, with the final documents signed today to complete the appointment.
Xavi’s move to international football comes after his time in charge of Barcelona, where he gained experience managing at the highest level of the club game. He will now turn his attention to the Netherlands and the challenge of leading the national team.
The Spanish coach will work with a talented group of players from some of Europe’s biggest clubs as he looks to build a competitive Netherlands side.
