Rights activist Aisha Yesufu has described President Bola Tinubu’s leadership as “abysmally disastrous” amid the ongoing political disagreement between Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and the Progressives Governors Forum.
The dispute followed criticism from APC governors over the Rivers State Rainbow Coalition led by Wike. The governors warned that the coalition could pose a threat to President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
In response, Wike described the APC governors as lazy politicians, escalating the political exchange between both sides.
Reacting to the development, Yesufu took to X to criticise the President’s handling of the situation, arguing that members of his party and appointees were publicly at odds.
“Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been unable to control his party members and appointees and they are currently all over the place fighting each other and spilling the beans on how they are looting public funds.
“It says everything about the leadership of Mr Tinubu! Abysmally disastrous.”
