Social media personality GehGeh has criticised TikTok star Peller over his decision to proceed with marriage to his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, despite his financial success.
Peller had announced on Sunday that he completed traditional marriage rites after paying Jarvis’ bride price during a family introduction ceremony.
Reacting via his X handle, GehGeh questioned the assumption that financial stability alone is enough justification for marriage, insisting that emotional and mental readiness should also be considered.
“Y’all are justifying his act with ‘he has the money allow him’. But y’all failed to ask yourself if he’s ready mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually,” he wrote.
He added, “Everything isn’t all about the money.”
GehGeh also expressed disappointment that Peller went ahead with the marriage plans despite his earlier advice, arguing that the TikTok star is still young and should focus on personal growth.
“You still growing as a child why get married now eehn.. I tried my possible best to help you but you failed to listen to me.. Peller don go marry Jarvis.. upon all my advice this boy still pour spit for my face,” he said.
He further urged critics of his stance to consider whether they would support a younger family member making a similar life decision at that age.
