A woman claiming to be the sister of popular online personality Gehgeh has accused him of hypocrisy over his public advice on relationships and financial independence.
She said Gehgeh frequently uses his online platforms to discourage boyfriends from giving their girlfriends money, while also advising girlfriends not to depend on their partners financially. According to her, he further encourages women to rely on their families rather than romantic relationships for financial support.
However, she alleged that his personal behaviour toward her contradicts the message he promotes publicly.
“I’m Gehgeh’s sister. He preaches online that boyfriends shouldn’t give their girlfriends money and that girlfriends should not collect money from their boyfriends.
He also made it clear that girlfriends should always ask their family for money. But whenever I ask him for money, he asks if I don’t have a boyfriend and says he doesn’t owe me anything.”
