Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has reacted to reports that content creator Carter Efe was denied a United States visa, brushing off the incident and saying it should not be treated as major news.

In a video shared online, the rapper questioned why so much attention was being given to Carter Efe, describing him as “just a streamer” rather than an artist.

He said:

“Who is Carterefe? If they deny his American visa, it’s not a big deal; he is just a streamer. He is not even an artist, so it’s not a big deal. The Ethiopian referee was denied a visa to the World Cup; that’s a big deal. He should stop disturbing us online.”

Carter Efe recently gained admission into Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, a programme in the United States designed to support upcoming digital content creators. The reported visa issue has cast doubt over whether he will be able to attend.

Despite the concerns, Speed Darlington maintained that the situation was not significant, arguing that other visa-related cases deserve far more public attention.
