The Lagos State Police Command is searching for two men wanted over the alleged killing of a woman in the Ikoyi area of the state.
The suspects are 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado and 33-year-old Ajibola Obateru. Both men are believed to have their last known addresses in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Their wanted status was announced by the command in separate bulletins published on its X handle on Wednesday.
Police said the duo allegedly joined forces with other individuals to attack the victim, resulting in her death. They were also accused of removing her body to an undisclosed location and taking her personal belongings.
The command said the incident happened around the Ikoyi axis of Lagos.
In Alagbado’s wanted notice, the police stated:
“The suspect conspired with others to attack the victim, allegedly killed her and made away with her body to an unknown location.
“The victim’s belongings were also stolen by the fleeing suspect and his cohorts.
“DESCRIPTION: Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 32, Height: Average, Face: Oval, Nose: Wide, Mouth: Long Wide, Lips: Medium, Eyes Colour: White, Complexion: Dark Colour, Chin: Round, Hair: Normal, Forehead: Smooth, Dress: Decent. Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State.”
The description released for Obateru reads:
“Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 33, Height: 5.9ft, Build: Thin, Face: Oval, Nose: Long, Mouth: Small, Lips: Thin, Eyes Colour: Black, Complexion: Fair, Chin: Pointed, Hair: Black Thick, Head: High, Forehead: High, Habits and Mannerisms: Appear Gentle, Dress: Decent. Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State.”
The police appealed to members of the public with useful information about the suspects’ whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or the Office of the Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

The command warned the public against attempting to arrest or confront the wanted men, urging anyone who spots either suspect to immediately contact the police.
