Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reflected on her political career and accomplishments, describing herself as a “silent worker” who prefers to let her actions speak for her.
Speaking during a recent interview with journalists, Remi Tinubu said she was not initially inclined to address the issue but felt compelled after being directly asked.
“I wasn’t going to address it, but now that you’re putting me on the spot. I have ran elections. I am the first woman to be in the Senate three times. I don’t sing my own praise, but I am a silent worker,” she stated.
She pointed to her long record in public service, including her multiple terms in the Senate, as proof of her contributions to governance and leadership.
According to her, her focus has always been on delivering results rather than seeking public recognition.
