Phyna Otabor has addressed the backlash surrounding cosmetic procedures among former Big Brother Naija housemates, speaking candidly during a recent livestream.
Reacting to the widespread belief that reality stars often spend their earnings on body enhancements after the show, Phyna dismissed the criticism, insisting such choices are personal and not a misuse of money.
“It is not money miss road,” she said.
She acknowledged that many ex-housemates undergo transformations after leaving the show but maintained that the issue lies with those judging them rather than the decision itself.
“If you have 20 million naira that you are not using, my dear, you will go and do surgery,” she stated.
She further argued that critics are often driven by lack of money, not genuine concern.
“It is broke that you’re broke. It is money that you don’t have that is why you’re hating on it. If money touch you, you will go and do it.”
