Nigerian singer Teni has reacted after a social media user questioned her noticeably slimmer appearance in a recent music video featuring herself and Olamide.
The X user had shared a screenshot from the video and wrote that people should either be concerned about her weight loss or “mind their business,” adding that her transformation from a plus-size look to a much slimmer frame was “concerning.”
The post read: “Should we be concerned about Teni’s size or we should mind our business? How Teni went from plus size to this present size that looks summarized is something that I think should be concerning.”
Responding directly, Teni dismissed the concern and hinted that her transformation was not an easy journey, suggesting people would understand her joy if they knew what she went through.
She simply replied: “If you know wetin I face to lose this weight you go happy for me.”
Her response quickly drew attention online, with many fans praising her confidence and defending her right to change her body without public scrutiny, while others continued to debate her transformation.
