Angela Okorie has joined the growing conversation surrounding the AI-edited image involving Anita Joseph and Caramel Plug, criticizing the use of artificial intelligence to replace another person’s face on an existing photo without proper acknowledgment.

Sharing her opinion, the actress said there is nothing wrong with using AI, but insisted it should never be used to take credit for someone else’s creativity or hard work. According to her, anyone who recreates another person’s outfit or image should first acknowledge and applaud the original creator.

Angela also revealed that she has repeatedly dealt with people copying her fashion, hairstyles, voice and overall style without giving her credit, describing the experience as painful and disrespectful. She added that celebrities should avoid such actions because they create false impressions and diminish the effort of those who originally created the look.

The actress also took a swipe at Anita Joseph personally, saying she should be allowed to face the consequences of her actions and describing her as “a very bad person.”

She wrote, “What is bad is bad don’t condone it cos is ur friend that did it, instead shut up!!

“Y’all need to stop glorifying nonsense. How do you say you are a celeb and you use another person’s picture, removed their head and replace it with your head? You are what we call a complete yeyebrity.

“No celebrity should ever do something like that. When you copy people’s styles, first of all applaud them for their beautiful outfit before removing their heads. We are still in a real world.

“I am not saying people shouldn’t use AI, but before replacing a person’s head on their outfit, applaud them. Please allow people to face their karma. Anita herself na very bad person.

“It took me a lot of money and time to put my outfit together for someone else to use it without permission.

“You can use AI to create your own style. Don’t steal another person’s hard work. It’s disrespectful.

“After putting so much time into creating something out of my life, then you copy me without giving me my accolades, you’re a thief!

“Omo, do you know how frustrating it is when people mimic you? Your style, your voice, your hairstyles, your outfits… they want to be you so bad.

“But people like me, the power I have, nobody can be me. They can only copy and become my copycats forever, but they will never ever come close.”
