The screening committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared 30-year-old aspirant, Mahmud Sadis Buba, popularly known as Abin Al-Ajabin Zazzau, to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Sabon Gari Federal Constituency in Kaduna State.

Buba recently picked up the party’s Expression of Interest and nomination forms as part of his bid for the position.

Announcing his ambition on his verified Facebook page, the aspirant said he was motivated by the desire to offer purposeful representation and promote inclusive development in the constituency.

“Today, I humbly announce that I have obtained my nomination form to contest for the House of Representatives, Sabon Gari Federal Constituency.

“From my beginnings as a driver to this moment, my journey has been built on hard work, resilience, and the belief that every individual—no matter their background—can rise to serve,” he wrote.

In a viral video shared online on Sunday, Buba appeared before the screening panel dressed in traditional attire, attracting attention over his youthful appearance, with many social media users expressing surprise at his age.

During the screening, he answered questions about his background, age and political ambition, stating that he is 30 years old and the eldest among nine children.

Speaking on why he decided to contest, Buba said members of his community encouraged him to serve them.

Asked what support he expected from the party, he replied, “Help to pass the screening, having passed the requirements, because people called me to serve them, and I will serve. I am not doing this for myself.”
